Boundary changes eyed for Manitoba riding reshapes Minnedosa Russell
Manitoba's Electoral Divisions Boundaries Commission released a preliminary plan to redraw 57 provincial divisions. The Minnedosa Russell riding would gain Minnedosa, Clanwilliam, Basswood and Rapid City, while Inglis and nearby areas would move to Dauphin Roblin. Len Derkach criticized the proposed split, urging public input at early September meetings as MLAs wrestle with keeping communities well served despite larger ridings.
