The North Western Marquette invites students in grades 3 to 6 to submit poster entries for the upcoming Music and Dance Festival in March. Winners' entries will serve as alternating festival covers. Westman Parkland Lions Telethon seeks local talent
Lions clubs of Western Manitoba invite jugglers comedians actors singers dancers and musicians to perform on the 1997 Westman Parkland Lions Telethon. The live show airs February 23 on CKX TV and IMTV from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. over the Westman Parkland region to benefit the Lions Foundation of Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.
