The Russell and District Civic Centre held a well attended AGM increasing directors from six to seven. New directors Mike Totte Laurie Burgess and Wes Anderson join existing board members as questions linger over a $200,000 donation and the parking lot project. The town and RM owe about $45,000 to be paid back with fundraising ideas discussed. First $50,000 of the donation is received with plans to pave the parking lot and fund renovations. The agreement provides $50,000 more this year and $20,000 annually for five years to the hall board.
