Diagnostic imaging wait lists to be slashed in Manitoba

Manitoba will allocate almost 1.5 million over six months to cut non-urgent diagnostic imaging wait times. Health Minister Darren Praznik and Winnipeg Hospital Authority Chair Neil Fast outline plans to extend clinic hours, boost CT MRI ultrasound capacity, and create a central registry across Winnipeg facilities. The goal is two to three week waits for non-urgent tests and a long term strategy with the Institute for Biodiagnostics and Health Sciences Centre.
