Manitoba boosts funding for school breakfast programs
The Manitoba government adds 450000 to support breakfast and nutrition programs via the Child Nutrition Council of Manitoba. CNC funds 50 to 60 percent. schools cover the rest. The program serves more than 200 facilities and over 20 000 children annually, with total provincial support reaching 1.3 million.
