Violent incident at Russell hospital on New Year’s Day

Police say Waywayseecappo First Nation man 43 assaulted hospital staff and patients at Russell Health Centre after arriving for treatment from an early morning snowmobile crash. A doctor and nurses were assaulted. Tasers used. No serious injuries. Charged Craig Allen Huntinghawk faces multiple counts and remains in custody ahead of January 17, 2013 court appearance.

Local RCMP Responds to Village Dispute and Roadside Mishap

Speeding awards noted for 146 km h on Hwy 16 and 186 km h on Hwy 83 near Roblin.
