A Red Cross notes a bake sale at Smith Block on March 3 with home cooking and donations including eggs cream vegetables and potatoes. A sock shower at Mrs Swindell raised 24 pairs of socks and $450 in cash. membership is $3 and a $1 contribution.
Local notes report visits to Winnipeg by residents including Pat Cornell and Mr and Mrs Small. A Red Cross tea at Mrs A A Smith’s raised 820. Replacements in bank staff and lodge social outcomes are noted. Debates, whist drives, church meetings, and charity totals are summarized with dates and names.
Local notes report Miss Edna McDonald’s Tuesday departure for Camrose and upcoming anniversary services at the Presbyterian church.
