Russell Chamber AGM Highlights Town Together Growth 2011
Russell Town Council reports continued Main Street Revitalization funding totaling about 450000 to 2012 upgrades. In 2011 the town contributed 85018 to the project and over 11000 to the Chamber with in kind support. The Hospital expansion and Hemodialysis unit opened while Kinney Way development seeks private partners. The Russell Multiplex project faces rising costs near 9.8 million with 500000 provincial support. work advances with completion due midsummer 2012 and 2013 marks the centennial.
