Community fundraiser launches for Assesssippi Parkland mix project
The Asess pi ckland Assisted Living Project opens fundraising with a $25,000 donation led by Bob Schmidt as chair. Volunteers including Marcia Rowat Dan Ferg Leanne Glasman Norman Schmidt and others organized letters door to door and lemonade stands to support families from the Philippines and newcomers needing airfare home to Canada.
