A man chased by two animals mistook a jack rabbit for coyotes after a rifle shot. He survived his 35 years of service Faithful unto Death.

Froze Body Found on the Prairie in Vernon BC

P C McIntyre reported the frozen body of his brother D McIntyre of Vernon BC found on Mounted Police pasture near Macleod. He left the CP Rail station Dec 16 and was last seen walking toward town. No foul play. a gold watch $38 cash and papers found on the body. Inquest verdict: death by the visitation of God in a natural way.

Funeral of Thomas Garrit at Gastievery Presby Cemetery

The funeral for Thomas Garrit of Gastievery was held Thursday in the Presbyterian cemetery with the Rev. W. P. Spooner of Shellmouth officiating. About 50 attendees recalled the deceased’s kind nature, and the Dugan family showed devoted care from house service to the graveside.
