Pizzey's Milling: A Flax Seed Success Story

The Pizzey family grew from selling flax bread at farmers markets to the largest flaxseed processor in North America. Starting in a home kitchen and garage, a shed expansion, a bakery upgrade, and a pet food venture propelled growth. Now 40 000 sq ft, 27 workers, 240 tonnes weekly flax input, and six to seven loads shipped weekly. The Grow Bonds program aided expansion and the business became a regional landmark.
