Heavier Birtle Strathclair and Birtle Indians overwhelmed Russell juveniles last Friday. Birtle opened with four goals in the first period, adding goals in the second and third. Virtue McLennan Whitmer attended. Johnson starred for Russell against a tougher foe. Seven penalties were called, four to Birtle, three to Russell. Russell Midgets crushed Inglis 4-1 on Saturday with Schwalm scoring four. Cartwrights and Galatiuk added others.
