Three partners Don Berke Chris Radford and Dean Gadd launch Southend Auto and Ag on the south end of Main Street filling a community need. The former Co‑op Lumber Yard site offers a large parking lot and Crosstown Motors will feature vehicles for sale later.

PTSD Recognized as Workplace Occupational Disease
Premier Greg Selinger announced that PTSD will be recognized as a work related occupational disease under changes to the Workers Compensation Act, taking effect January 1. The Workers Compensation Board will presume PTSD is job related, easing access to supports and treatment for workers who experience traumatic events on the job. Leaders including Manitoba nurses, firefighters and the Manitoba Government Employees Union praised the measure for broad applicability and faster support.
