Tow truck near miss on Highway 216 sparks safety call
A CAA Manitoba contractor nearly escaped serious injury when a car traveling about 90 kmh struck his tow truck on Highway 216. Marty Rempel of Steinbach Towing was a foot from impact. both drivers were unharmed. The incident highlights the slow down move over law, with fines of 300 and 2 demerits for noncompliance.
