It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our husband father grandfather and great grandfather Michael Sawa after a battle with cancer Michael passed away peacefully on Friday December 3 2021 at the age of 98 His quiet and gentle ways will be missed by family and friends.
Michael Jana beloved husband of Sophie for 74 years passed away. He leaves daughters Sylvia Jawa Alice Castle and Mark Jawa. grandchildren Lee Kris Holly Cam Tracey Rick Alex Harmony. great grandchildren Colin Farrah Taylor Avery Hailee. sister-in-law Jean and many relatives. Funeral held December 8 2021 at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church Sandy Lake. Pallbearers were grandsons and god son. Interment at St Johns Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery Rackham. Donations to CancerCare Manitoba welcomed.
Julia Dorothy Hyra Eugenko born September 26 1928 in RM of Rossburn and died December 8 2021 at Souris Personal Care Home. She married Harry Kuzenko in 1946 and farmed near Angusville before moving to Russell. Survivor list includes children Diane Denise Debbie and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral held December 11 at St Joseph Church Russell with burial at Russell Memorial Gardens. Donations to Canadian Diabetes Association suggested.
