Norman Ferris earns one million miles with no accidents

Dropmore district notes Norman Ferris of 336 Crescent Drive Swan River Manitoba won an award for driving one million miles for Mac Canada Inc Winnipeg. He began with James Transport Gilbert Plains from 1959 to 1969 then Gardewine and Son Winnipeg, later owning a 1978 Mack and working for S R P Swan River The Pasid Winnipeg. He remains accident free and active in the driving life.

Christmas Craigie Cheerio Club Meeting Reports

The Craigie Cheerio Club held its Christmas meeting at Doris Barber’s home with six members eight visitors and two young guests present. Donations to the Heart Fund and Care were noted along with plans to entertain at the Personal Care Home in March and a January bingo meeting at Dot Shaw’s house.
