Land acquisition starts for Yellowhead Highway work near Russell
Russell Mayor Merrill Kiliwnik says land negotiations on the west side are underway before any Yellowhead highway work can begin near Russell with expectations of a May start next year. Provincial funds also earmarked to acquire right of way for passing lanes on Hwy 10 between Minnedosa and Brandon amid ongoing calls to twin the road after multiple fatalities.
