Funeral service will be held this afternoon at Knox United Church, Russell, for Fred H. Briggs who died suddenly Tuesday morning. Interment in Russell Cemetery. Briggs, in his 61st year, was a pioneer Inglis district resident. He and Mrs. Briggs moved to Russell this fall.
