The Rev H P Barrett will conduct a Divine service at St Cuthbert's church at ten o'clock and again at 7 30 in the evening. Holy Communion will be celebrated.
Shellmouth Presbyterian Church announces a hand sale of the women’s crafts. Articles are on view at the Manse for the public to inspect and purchase at moderate prices. Items are sound and quality assured.
At Endcliffe school last Tuesday Rev E Johnston attended for the first time and gave a well received short address. Mr Russell also spoke briefly outlining the society’s potential impact if carried on in the proper spirit. A short programme wrapped up a pleasant evening.
The Presbyterian Sunday School plans a Christmas entertainment featuring lantern slides from Silverton presented by Rev. Mr. of Silverton. The slides show war scenes and aim to draw crowds to worship and celebrate the return of joy to the Xmas season.
In Shellmouth Ward 2 W Barry was re elected defeating H H Snowling by a 7 vote majority. In Silver Creek Municipality D Hall was re elected defeating Alex Brown by a 14 vote majority.
A special Christmas Day service with carols and hymns will be held at 3 pm in the Anglican Church in Harrowby. Rev F H Davenport will give the address. Separately, Mr F T Matheson has bought a half section of land west of town from Mr Wm Setter for about 37 dollars per acre.

The parish announces the 4th Sunday in Advent schedule with morning and evening services, Sunday school, baptism, and Christopas Day activities. A Friday night lecture series on The miracles of Jesus begins this week. The Girls Guild Sale last Saturday raised about $100 and thanks are extended to helpers.
Silverton news lists new residents and visitors including G McLeod and G H Stewart with travel to Endelffe. Local social events include a Christmas tree at 8 pm and a charity lunch for Children's Home Windipeg. Bonspiel opening set for Friday 27 with entry fee 100 dollars and team support.
