Hotel Dieu Open with welcoming arms in Russell
The 319 Assiniboine Street property, long part of Russell history, has been purchased by the Russell Inn marking a new chapter. Originally the residence of Wt. Doig, it later served as a hospital and convent run by Sisters of St. Benedict. The building’s link to community memory remains strong.
