MJHL trade spree reshapes teams early December
The Manitoba Junior Hockey League kicked off December with major roster moves as Swan Valley, Waywayseecappo, Winkler, Neepawa, Portage, and Dauphin swung deals. Key moves include Kirk Mastad to Swan Valley from Melville, Jayme Janzen to Swan Valley from Waywayseecappo, and multiple goalies and forwards changing hands among the Wolverines, Flyers, Saints, and other clubs. Brendan Baumgartner earned MJHL Player of the Week after a strong run with the Selkirk Steelers following a midseason trade.
