Fire Fighters of Russell enjoy successful year
The Russell Fire Fighters celebrated a successful year with their annual supper and fireman's ball at Russell Memorial Hall on November 26. 1,000 cattlemen join Manitoba Beef plan
One thousand cattlemen have joined the Plan for Manitoba Beef, with larger herds enrolling first. The average early applicant herd size is 65 cows versus the provincial 88, and by late November the plan could encompass over 60,000 cows or about 16 percent of Manitoba’s beef herd.
