Preservation praise for Angusville Ukrainian Home structure and art
Angusville officials Gordon Menzies and Edward Ledochowski praised the Ukrainian National Home building for solid domes and stage curtain scenes of historic value. The painted curtain by H. Syck drew attention with his signature noted by Ed, who shared fond remarks about restoration. The Heritage Committee, led by Mark Stroski, discussed broader reuse of old schools and churches, emphasizing careful restoration over demolition. Steve Karpusk remains hospitalized, while local residents visit Dauphin and reflect on preservation.
