Municipal leaders from Sell, Boulton, Russell, Shellmouth and Silver Creek met with the Pelly Trail Unitary Division School Board at Major Pratt Collegiate to review budgets and government grants. Finance was the main topic as levies and grants under unitary and old systems were compared, with concerns over a 400 million dollar gap and tax effects on low value homes and commercial property. The board agreed to share the budget with municipalities for prior approval by the education department, and announced open meetings with appointments required for delegations.
