Community Cancer Care Centre opens after decade of fundraising
The Expanding Community Cancer Care Committee raised 1.8 million to build a 3,300 square foot standalone unit on the west side of the Russell and District Health Centre. From bake sales to galas, farmers across 15 Parkland communities helped fund the new facility, which opened July 15 and has treated 115 patients.
