Manitoba Geothermal Incentives Aimed at Homes and Industry
Manitoba announces a provincewide geothermal program led by Jim Rondeau to cut greenhouse gas emissions and ease energy costs. It offers up to 3000 for new homes including a 2000 tax credit and 1000 grant, 2100 tax credit for existing homes, total incentives up to 5600 with federal grants, 10 of system value for commercial builds, and up to 150000 for district systems. The plan backs industry expansion and promotes access to incentives via the Manitoba Geothermal Energy Alliance.
