Town Council Sifts 3 of 18 Property Appeals in Revision
Town council met in special session as a court of revision on the 1956 assessment roll. Eighteen appeals were filed but only three were presented. fifteen had been settled by assessors during registrations. The council kept the roll with possible future adjustments by the Municipal and Equalization Appeal Board. The meeting also approved a tender from International Water Supply Limited for water pumping equipment at 3595.00 with engineers authorized to finalize details.

Good Roads Judges Visit Russell for Inspection
The Good Roads Association held an annual inspection tour of Russell and nearby towns. Free X Ray Clinic to Visit Russell Next Week
The Sanatorium Board of Manitoba brings a traveling clinic to Memorial Hall on September 2 and 3 offering free chest X rays for all district residents.
