Utah State University researchers Terry Messmer and Paul Klimack study the Paunsaugunt Plateau mule deer herd to map migration corridors and habitat. Tracking with radio collars shows most collared deer return to Utah, concentrating around Alton, amid highway 89 traffic and coal mine impacts.
