The Wheat Board reports multiple export records for grains and rye as West Coast ports see record tonnage. Locally farmers moved about 29,730 tonnes through 21 elevators, a drop from the 1982 1963 crop year movement, due to lower yielding crops. Harvest begins as swathing and combining start in many areas with crops expected to be average overall.
