Supportive Housing Plan Drives Assisted Living Near ARHA
The Assiniboine Regional Health Authority collaborates with Manitoba Health on an assisted living housing complex. The plan adds at least four supportive housing units offering meals, laundry, housekeeping, 24 hour supervision and personal care for frail seniors not yet ready for a Personal Care Home. This shared approach aims to improve quality of life and relieve home care and health care systems.
