Grace Lutheran Church hosts Vacation Bible School for ages 3 through grade 6 from August 16 to 20, 9 30 am to noon. An annual barbecue roast for Legion and Auxiliary members is set for August 15, 2004 at the same location and time.
A bridal shower for Roxanne Douglas fiancee of Tim Renaud is planned at Jean Douglas residence on Saturday August 14 from 2 to 4 PM. Attendance is welcomed with celebration and gifts for the couple.

The RM of Ellice council met led by Reeve George Boucher with five councillors present and a grader operator. Minutes from the June 9 2004 meeting were adopted. A 1 30 PM public hearing addressed a conditional use order for Pt SW 1 4 Sec 2017 28 WPM with access conditions. The council approved a subdivision application and delegated wage inquiry to the Reeve and Councillor Hamilton. Dave Pittendreigh was named designated building permit officer. CAO holidays and funding to Qu Appelle Valley road were discussed. General accounts totaling 28605 88 for vouchers 1506 1534 were approved. meeting adjourned.
