Main Street garage sale weekend kicks off with barbecue
The Chamber of Commerce and Assiniboine Valley Recreation Centre closed blocks on Main Street for a town wide sale. July 19 weekend events included a barbecue at the Regional Employment Resource Centre, garage sales, a Saturday street program, hotdog sale by Expanding Community Cancer Care, a book signing by Gerald Keating for 85 Years of Prairie Living, pony rides by Gypsy Ridge Horseback Adventures, and ice cream at Tin House Designs & Coffee Co. Organizers aim to expand the event for 2020.
