Pharmacy dispensing fee rise approved by minister

Health Minister Larry Desjardins announced a government and Manitoba Society of Pharmacists agreement to raise the prescription dispensing fee by about one percent. Effective August 1 1986 pharmacies may charge up to 5.25 dollars. Specialty extemporaneous prescriptions get 5.25 dollars for the first 15 minutes and 8.50 dollars for each additional 15 minutes.
