The funeral of the late Thos Madill was held at Russell cemetery on Friday April 10 with many old time friends in attendance. Born in North To., Ontario 73 years ago he moved west 27 years ago with his family settling on a farm north of town before relocating to Russell five years ago. Survived by wife one daughter Hazel and five sons John A Winnipeg Milton Edmonton Ernest Havelock Harold Russell. Services by Rev F C Middleton. The Late Mrs. John Clark
The third Russell death in a week was that of Mrs. John Clark aged 36 born in Glasgow and who came with her husband in 1920. Funeral was held at Russell cemetery on Wednesday with Rev E J Barton officiating. She leaves her husband one son two daughters and her parents Mr and Mrs McMannus and four brothers.

Wedding Ties McKee Daughter to Delmar McFeeters
The wedding occurred Saturday at 5 30 in the home of Mr. and Mrs W H Hugo of Marion. Jessie McKee’s youngest daughter wed Delmar McFeeters with Rev M E Nixon officiating. The bride wore navy canto cloth and tan crepe, a chic French hat, gray squirrel choker, and a bridal rose bouquet. The groom’s party included Clark Peden as best man and Cassie McKee as bridesmaid. After a breakfast, the couple, amid rice and confetti, left on the morning train for a brief honeymoon in Winnipeg and will reside on the groom’s farm near Birdtail.
