Manitoba District No 40 Holds 22nd Annual Meet in Russell

The 22nd annual Manitoba District No 40 meeting convened at Elk's Hall Russell on Sunday April 6 with Swan River Lodge arriving despite a weekend storm. Attendees included 20 ladies from Swan River, 16 from Winnipegosis, and Dauphin Lodge staying home. A social hour and banquet at United Church followed with remarks by District Deputy Elgin Wishart and Exalted Ruler Bil Walls. Edith Banner chaired, and Mayor Art Kinney attended. A later event showcased Cinderella presented by United Youth Group on April 28 in Major Pratt room with a silver door collection planned.
