First Stick Curling Bonspiel At Russell Club
The first stick curling bonspiel was held at the Russell Curling Club on Sunday March 27. Sixteen teams, ages 13 to 87, tried the new format with sticks delivering rocks. The event raised over $500 for the club and featured a Chicken Chef supper, aiming to become an annual and weekly activity with school and community support.
