Students celebrate World Water Day in local schools
The Upper Assiniboine River Conservation District visited area schools for World Water Day. Grade 5 classes learned about water importance and conservation, noting humans are 60-65 percent water and that 125 litres of water yield 1 litre of soda. The film on the Hydrologic Cycle by PFRA was shown, reusable bottles were given, and the district invited further participation.
