SkyCable tests digital wireless system in Manitoba
SkyCable runs a trial of a digital wireless service in southern Manitoba with 35 channels now on air from Brandon and Elie head ends. The plan is to expand to 150 channels, add Pay TV and Pay Per View, and launch nationwide coverage by mid fall as Winnipeg joins later this season. SkyCable is licensed by the CRTC and operated by Craig Broadcast Systems with Winnipeg development by Broadband Networks.
