Mike Antonation is the NDP pick from Shoal Lake and Rudy Usick is the Liberal choice. Social Credit has not announced a nominating meeting.

Rossburn defeated Russell 28 to 24 in a well played football game at Rossburn on September 15. Cheerleaders added gaiety and encouragement to the event. The first Junior High party is planned for September 24.
