Waste Paper Surplus Ends Public Collection
The Salvage committees thank the public for saving waste paper but stop further collection now. Early wartime shortages led to strong public effort. the situation has improved. There is now an actual surplus of some lines of waste paper.
Hunting regulations for migratory birds issued
National Parks Service at Ottawa releases migratory bird rules for the year. Open season for ducks geese coot rails begins September 21 and ends November 21 in this province. Game birds dates set by the provincial branch include prairie chicken October 1 to 17 and Hungarian partridge October 1 to November 4, all inclusive.
