Tuckersmith school cairn dedication honors rural heritage
Over 60 locals including four teachers gathered at the Tuckersmith No. 1395 school site on July 11 to dedicate a stone cairn marking the 1907 to 1963 operation. The steel lettering, granite plaque, and engraved families commemorate the community’s school legacy amid a reunion with speeches and a beef supper at Angusville Heritage Hall.
