Knights observe 100th birthday of Knights of Columbus
The Rossburn Review notes Parkland Council 6815 officially began a centennial observance on October 18 with Mass led by Father Musioluk and a formal resolution. Grand Knight Jack Vanderhulst outlines goals for church family and community activity during the jubilee year as the organization traces its 1882 New Haven origins and global reach. The Knights reported over 7,000 councils and 1.35 million members with major charitable activity, including $29 million in disbursements and 9.2 million volunteer hours last year.
