Centennial Committee Sets Budgets and Calendars
The Centennial Committee met October 5 at 8 PM in the Municipal Office with 18 members. New business created a budget committee and a fund raising committee with members Pat Monroe Diane Lawless Marie Elke Ron Kostesky Shirley Kalyniuk Barbara Kostesky Stella Didych Pete Malchuk. Lions rep Ken Lillie discussed a community calendar fund raising project. a Rossburn aerial photo calendar was approved at 4.00 dollars with 2 free entries, 50 cents per entry for service clubs. Calendar to include birthdays anniversaries club meetings and events. Lions will canvass the community. The cookbook should be ready by end of November and the Centennial will cater the Pool supper on November 14. Anne Slon moved and Stella Didych seconded. Larry Elke adjourned. Centenary year starts in 11 weeks. next meeting October 19 in Rossburn Town Hall at 8 PM.
