Adjourned to November 3 1954 at 1 pm.

Ross Short and Delmar Purdy of the Shoal Lake 4-H Beef Calf Club won the Manitoba Beef Judging Championship at Winnipeg securing a Toronto trip against national rivals. The pair, active in 4-H for years, trained under instructor Welland Stonehouse with support from J. F. Muirhead as they prepared through travel and judging exercises across Manitoba.
