Misses Tennle and Mary Topolot with relatives Misses Olga Kuch Mary Pypka Josephine and Caroline Cotte visited here. Brandon spent a few days visiting with his parents. Lave returned home after working all summer.
MEARS Mr Matt Semaniuk of Foxwarren spent a weekend in the district. Mr J Spilchak arrived home on Friday after spending a weeks olf day in Winnipeg. Ptelyan Baydock left for Fort Osborne on Tuesday morning after his harvest leave and bond sales. Mra S Baydock, Mike and Ivan and Alex Konher visited relatives in Grandview during the week end. Pte John Chechowaky of Shilo Camp spent a week end with his parents. Mr and Mrs Tachinsky of Gyr eumville Man were the vistors of Mr and Mrs Nick Sem?niuk. Pte Tony Maydanuik left for Prince George B C after spending his furlough with parents and rela tives in the district. Miss Helen Sokolau of Fort William and Miss Mable Chechow eki of Vancouver are spending a holiday with their parents here. Misses Nelli, Sawchuk and Kay Semaniuk left the district on Tues day's train. The former went to Winnipeg and will try to secure a job. The latter went to Vista to spend a short holiday with Mra J Lezaruk.

Matt Cherwonick discharged after appendix operation at Russell. Col Wm Veitch wounded in Italy on October 20. Dies aid meet at Mr Mac tier’s home elects officers. Mr T. Gerelus an ordinary seaman from Winnipeg visited over the weekend. Stw. R. Kitler of Halifax spent several days with Mr and Mrs J. Machalishyn. Mr and Mrs Druel hosted friends and relatives in honor of their son Dick, who married Miss Jone Dunts of Leech on Sunday November 5 at the Greek Catholic Church, Oakburn.
Glen Elmo Ruthenia M George Hlagie and son visited Dauphin Friday. Harold Hagie moved to Marco Windyka area near his pew residence. Mike Lopinski moved to Rossburn to reside. Caroline Probeck served as bridesmaid at her sister’s Angusville wedding. Nick Brykaluik returned from Grandview harvest work. A farewell for Mr and Mrs Hlagie yielded $2000 in cash. Mike Wladyka with Fred Belbas and Steve Kuzenko toured St Rose and Dauphin. Pte John Alagie spent furlough with his parents at Tarus G C. Winnipeg visitors included Anton Wladyka family Lena Werbow ski Pete Kuzenka Matt Olyniak and families.
A general meeting of the Rossburne Agricultural Society will be held in the Clubroom on Wednesday November 15 at 8 o clock pm. All members are urged to attend.
