Pte J Laydock returns on furlough from Camp Patawawa. Olga Korolyk and George Semaniuk wed at Rossburn. Pte F Kobuch on furlough. Death of pioneer Mr Wm Schilds at 76 after infantile paralysis. Government radar article notes $200 million output by Research Enterprises Limited since 1940.
Mrs G W Fisher of Roasburn visits daughter Mrs J D Black. Gordon Moraies of Montreal spent a week with friends and relatives. Geo Karasiewich returned home after visiting his daughter Rose, a Winnipeg hospital patient. Miss Shirley Black of Anguaville and Miss Nonie Panchuk of Rossburn spent the weekend at their homes.
Canada's restrictions on penicillin use and distribution have been removed. Three facilities are now authorized to produce the antibiotic within the country.
