Rising star Aaron Peters Opens for Hells Bells at Waywayseecappo
Aaron Peters, 27, Canada’s rising Aboriginal entertainer, headlined as the opening act for the AC/DC tribute band Hells Bells at the Waywayseecappo Community Centre. He performed songs from his CD Dont Say Reality and covers including Bryan Adams, sharing themes of abusive relationships, religion, politics, love and self-esteem.

Manitoba and federal aid fund emergency preparedness projects
Manitoba and federal governments commit just over 1 million for Emergency Preparedness programs under JEPP. Manitoba receives about 700 000 and the federal government 363 000 toward six projects to be completed by March 31, 1999. Rossburn gets 4087 for EOC furnishing. Manitoba Youth Job Centre Opens with Open House
The Manitoba Youth Job Centre celebrated its official opening with an open house on May 20 at 1 00 pm. Visitors exceeded expectations as complimentary lemonade coffee doughnuts and desserts were served. The centre will assist employers with hiring youth and can be reached at 773 3319 for registrations or job orders. office hours are Monday to Friday 830 am to 430 pm in the Russell IGA Mall. Melanie Hrubeniuk is the Hire A Student centre manager for the area and can be contacted at the same number.
