Rossburn Rural Council meeting notes 1946

The Rossburn Rural Council held a Saturday May 4 meeting with all members present. Reeve H. T. Huston chaired. Minutes from the previous meeting were adopted. A grant of $30 to Boys' and Girls' Club and Vista was approved. An agreement giving the Rossburn Cemetery full charge was drafted. Dowes of Oakburn was restored to municipal aid. A postwar project resolution seeks market road grants from the Department of Public Works. 1946 pay rates were set for road work: Tractor two dollars per hour. four horse team and man seventy five cents. two horse team and man sixty cents. Bills were approved for payment. The council adjourned to meet June 8, 1946 at 2 p.m.

Rossburn Domination Pauses as Rain Cancels First Game
