Peter Cheguis 49 dies after wrap of services in Manitoba
Peter Michael Cheguis of Birtle Manitoba died May 7 at Deer Lodge Hospital. Prayers were held at Zawidoski Funeral Chapel Winnipeg then at Sandy Lake Parish Hall with a funeral mass. He was born in Rossburn and farmed near Birtle thirty years. Survived by mother Martha, three sisters Ann Mike Florence Spak and Mary Todosiev, and four brothers John Paul Bill Harry.

Survived by four sons, one daughter, a brother and sister in Ukraine, eleven grandchildren, and a wide circle of relatives. Interment at Oakburn Ukr Catholic Church.
