Beaver Wanderer Spotted In Town Then Heads South

A shy beaver was seen in Rossburn, wandered into town near the playground at the south end, and lingered long enough for photos before heading south toward water. Several onlookers helped coax the animal to pose briefly for a picture.

Rossburn group gets 12000 funding for lake aeration unit

The Rossburn Game and Fish Association and the R.M. of Rossburn have received 12 000 from the Fisheries Enhancement Initiative Fund to buy a mobile aeration unit for the south bay of Rossman Lake. MLA Len Derkach praised the collaboration and the Rossburn community’s recreational and tourist facility.
